I have ImageMagick installed on my El Capitan Mac, and it is a wonderful tool, but cannot write png or jpg files. "convert -list format" verifies my experience. I just tack "convert coolimage.gif coolimage.png" to the end of all my commands, which somehow works.
...to get a working copy of ImageMagick, but the download link there downloads a version 7.x install.
I can't install homebrew on my Mac. I tried. Too old. (Not me, the Mac. Well, maybe me, too).
I can go on forever, or until I can get a new Mac, but it would be cool if I could use ImageMagick like it's supposed to be used. Is there someplace I can download a v. 6 binary?

I went to:

Thanks in advance!
