Should we use the documentation of the stable CRAN release or the development version on GitHub (if available) for more agility in the results?

Good question. Do you mean for the demo or for the long-term?

For the demo, I don't think it matters.

For the long-term, I would support the released documentation because users would not expect to see results that could vary without notice (POLA).
