Feature request: More configuration elements exposed

I ran into the scenario where we need to enable editors to select URLs for Canonical URL setting. They want to use a content picker + eventually insert the link to some external page (if needed). Of course we're using Multi Url Picker, but it exposes all the elements now such as:

• anchor link
• media

Ideally, it would be very useful and powerful if the same checkbox as for "Target" property setting exist for the above elements.

Just food for thoughts now. Happy to help & contribute maybe if it'll be something what will stop/block us and might be useful for you?
