In general I only want to share project updates when they hit significant milestones. From what I understand this project has been poised to hit a significant milestone since the start of the semester, but it's not there yet. The end-of-semester presentation is just something the internal team is responsible for. The outside world does not care about it. It needs to be relevant to a general external audience.
